I have more than 10 years experience as a wax technician and licensed Esthetician.
I am a perfectionist and pride myself on a job well done. I have a background in fine art and consider my line of work a continuation of creating art with my hands.
I follow the utmost in providing a clean, sanitary & comfortable atmoshphere.
There is absolutely no double dipping in House of Wax and gloves are always worn
Your scheduled wax is reserved specifically for you. I value your business and ask that you respect my scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance. More notice is even better and extremely appreciated.
If reserved appointment(s) is cancelled in less than 24 hours,
50% of the service fee will be charged.
If appointment is made same day and is cancelled in less than 4 hours of scheduled appointment, 50% of the service fee will be charged.

Can I go tanning before a wax?
NO! - It's best not to 3 days prior or 3 days after.
What about a spray tan?
You can get waxed a day or two before your spray tan appointment. If you wax after it will take off your tan.

how long or short should my hair be for waxing?
The hair should be at least 1/4-inch to 1/2-inch for best results. If you have coarse hair it should be closer to 1/2-inch for the first few waxes. Once the hair becomes finer it can be waxed at a shorter length.

It may take up to six waxing treatments to achieve smooth skin due to the fact that hair grows in stages and all of your hair is never at the same stage. It is very important to avoid shaving between waxing appointments, as this will interrupt the process and stimulate the hair growth again.

Does waxing make my hair grow back Thicker/Coarser/Darker?
Absolutely not.
Waxing does not cause you to grow more hair follicles. In fact, if you become a regular waxer, you will notice that your hair will become quite sparse and not as coarse.
When hair is shaved, it is cut off at the thick part of the hair, which is why you can feel stubble the next day. A properly waxed hair is removed from the root, and when the hair starts to grow back it is a new hair, very fine at the tip, so no stubble.
The only things known to stimulate hair growth are hormones: natural or artificial

i use only the highest end european stripless wax!.
